Vibrations produced by construction in urban areas can significantly affect the structural health of the surrounding buildings and structures. While the source of vibrations varies depending on location or type of work, it is important to continuously monitor infrastructure to ensure critical levels are never reached and structural integrity is not compromised.
Construction for new and existing buildings, demolition sites, piling, tunneling, and roadwork are all examples of sites where vibration monitoring is necessary. Syscom's suite of vibration monitoring solutions offer application-specific advantages for automated vibration monitoring of civil structures.
Join Syscom Instruments' Andrea Bellino and Terra Insights' Kevin Berlinger for an on-demand webinar that will provide insights on how effective vibration monitoring can produce actionable data for urban infrastructure projects.
Key takeaways from this webinar:
Speakers:
Kevin Berlinger Monitoring Specialist | Terra Insights Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and first joined the Terra Insights platform as a representative for RST Instruments. Kevin has a wealth of professional experience as a project and design engineer in water resources. He has also worked as a field and sales engineering consultant for both low voltage BMS monitoring and structural anchoring. Kevin currently resides in New York City and has been with Terra Insights for the past 18 months with a focus on bringing geotechnical monitoring solutions to the infrastructure market in the Northeast region of the US.
